3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES OF DATA PROCESSING

Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR): The processing of e-mail addresses, user names and post content is based on the express consent of the users. This consent should be documented in writing as proof.

Fulfillment of contractual obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR): The storage and management of user data is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations, in particular the provision of the platform and the possibility for users to publish and manage their contributions.

Legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR): We store certain data to maintain the integrity of the platform and for the process of content moderation. For example, moderators must be able to delete inappropriate content. In addition, users should be able to request the deletion of their post after it has been published. For this purpose, an e-mail address has been set up to which authors can send their deletion requests: vomprateraus@pratergalerie.de.

4. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA

The following data is collected:

  • User name: Freely selectable and not necessarily linked to the user's real name.
  • Post content: This includes texts and images uploaded by users.

This data is processed as part of the provision and use of the platform.

5. RECIPIENT OF THE DATA

We only pass on your personal data within Prater Galerie, and only to those departments and persons who require it to fulfill the purpose of the data processing.

6. DATA RETENTION

Your personal data will be deleted or destroyed as soon as the purpose for which it was collected ceases to exist.

The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
